Sadhya, authentic Kerala meal in Bombay

The festival of Onam being round the corner I was craving to eat some authentic Kerala food. Sadhya is a vegetarian meal served on a banana leaf with a gamut of chutneys, achaards, papads, chips, vegetable curries, desserts, vegetables etc. It is usually served during festivals or weddings.

I remember eating a special Sadhya during my college days at IIM Indore. The Kerala community friends had made special arrangements for people to come and enjoy the feast during Onam. Today after must research I ordered my Sadhya from Theeram.

The packing was really great. I appreciate the fact that they did not miss out on any of the items. Even the smallest of the fried chillis to banan chips were there in the meal. For a second when I saw the spread I was a little shocked of how would I be bale to finish all of it. It was a delight. The special rice along with so many gravies and veggies was a burst of flavours in my mouth. The chutneys and the condiments added to it.

All this food costed a mere 350/- bucks along with free delivery to my doorstep. A must try meal for all food lovers. Do visit the place if you wanna try it hot or else you can laze around like me and order it home.

I missed a keralite during the meal to actually tell me the names of the dishes I was eating. But still the meal was a delight šŸ™‚
